Inspire, create, teach

Just some of the talented people and practitioners who’ve taught, inspired, supported and mentored me, who facilitate workshops and do interesting, creative things which I recommend.

Middle Earth Medicine Ways

Middle Earth Medicine Ways

Caroline Carey, founder, Middle Earth Medicine

I’ve been dancing the ecstatic dance and working with the Magic of Mandorla, facilitated by Caroline, since 2017.

Caroline is a workshop facilitator, a speaker and a published writer, she works internationally, sharing her experiences and strengths to many. She is devoted to the work she offers in supporting people to find freedom through dance and creativity. She supports an understanding of the underlying and unconscious patterns that tend to rule and limit our lives, offering an understanding of our challenges, our suffering and our addictions. The aim is to reclaim a stronger sense of happiness, creative connection, soulfulness,  and innocence.

Andreas Kornevall

Andreas Kornevall

Andreas Kornevall, Storyteller, Writer & Rewilder

Andreas’ workshop in Norse mythology turned my rune dreams into reality and helped me manifest my rune set. With his encouragement, my voyage of discovery in understanding and harnessing the magic of the runes has brought me to this point and beyond.

Andreas is co-founder of www.workingabroad.com - a non-profit volunteering and travelling site, director at the Earth Restoration Service Charity,  www.earthrestorationservice.org and co-founder of the Life Cairn movement: memorials for species rendered extinct at human hands: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Life_Cairn

Sandy Marie Humby, founder, Rose Alchemy

Synchronicity led me to the wonderful Rose Alchemy oracle, created by Sandy Marie Humby. In summer 2018, Sandy was attending an aromatherapy conference and exhibition at the University of Sussex Business School. Her stall was hosted directly below my office. I was immediately drawn to her beautiful rose cards, which my clients now enjoy as part of my Runes n Roses ritual and readings.

Advantages of Age

I first met Suzanne Noble and Rose Rouse, the co-founders of Advantages of Age, in 2017 on the back of a red double decker bus as we rode around London dressed to the nines as part their #outageous campaign. My writing has since been published on the AoA website.

The AofA community celebrates growing old gracefully but is equally at home with disgracefully. AofA aims to celebrate how far we’ve all come while recognising a need to address the damaging, anti-age bias of our society.

Caer Corhrain

In October 2018, I found myself ‘birthing’ my drum, Paskadi, with expert teachers Lynn, Lewis and Bruce from Caer Corhrain Centre on the marshlands of the Isle of Sheppey. Their drumming circles, workshops and sweatlodges are held in this magical place and community they’ve created.

Lucid Dream Tree

I brought Tree Carr’s dreaming workshop to Brighton for the first time in 2017. As a Dreaming Guide, Tree helps those seeking to awaken, explore and further understand their dreamworlds by cultivating a dreaming practice.Tree’s new guide to concious dreaming is out now.

Dream Baby Dream.

Westcountry School of Myth

As mythologist Dr Martin Shaw would say: “I got leapt” and followed the Irish hare from Dublin aiport all the way to Dartmoor in September 2019, to join the merry band of pirates that is the School of Myth’s Wandering Court 2019/2020. What a mythic voyage it’s been.

Sharon Blackie - Writer & Mythologist

At the beginning of 2017, I read Dr Sharon Blackie’s new book If Women Rose Rooted. It resonated so much, that I signed up to take her inaugural online year long course, Voices of the Well, born out of that book. In 2018 I dived straight into her new year long online offering: Celtic Studies - Myth, Tradtion, Spirituality

The Wyrd School

In September 2019, during an epic, mythic road trip around my ancestral Ireland, I stopped off for a three day immersion in the wilds of the Burren for a weekend run by the Wyrd School. Paul Kingsnorth and Andreas Kornevall’s new course Tales from the North.
